The project was located in the City of Edgewater in Volusia County, and extended from north of South Street to Magnolia Avenue/ Shangri-La Drive. Highway design services for milling and resurfacing, construction of missing sidewalk on both sides of the roadway, connections to boarding and alighting areas at the bus stops, the addition of designated bike lanes with key holes at right turn lanes, TMS reconstruction, and upgrading or replacing of guardrails on this rural roadway. An innovation on the project was the design of two aluminum prefabricated truss bridges pedestrian bridges in lieu of culvert extensions for the sidewalk. .
