Project Overview
EAC as a joint venture partner was awarded a multi-year contract with the Federal Transit Administration and the Department of Transportation to perform project oversight services for this project. The Cincinnati Streetcar project includes the construction of a fixed rail, modern streetcar circulator extending throughout the Cincinnati Central Business District and Over the Rhine neighborhood along the route that includes the installation of approximately 3.6 miles of embedded single track traveling in one direction and the route will include 18 station stops. The project included the purchase of five modern streetcar vehicles. The vehicles are powered by an overhead catenary system installed along the route and included the installation of three traction power substations. The project included the construction of a Maintenance and Operations Facility located on the route.
