Project Overview

This project consisted of the roadway improvements within the project limits of NE 39 Street and NE 40 Street from N. Miami Avenue to NE 2nd Avenue. The proposed improvements were generally consistent with the City of Miami’s – Miami Design District Planning Study. The proposed improvements consisted of a full roadway reconstruction of an existing two lane urban arterial with meter parking (on both sides of the corridor) and wide sidewalks. The existing typical section consisting of two lane paved section with parallel parking along both sides of the street will be maintained and milling and resurfacing will be done. The construction of limited curb and gutter, planting areas, bulb outs, and sidewalks were part of this project. EAC was also responsible for all the drainage improvements.
