EAC, as part of a joint venture is responsible for overseeing, reviewing, assessing and evaluating the scope, schedule and construction budget for Phase I of a Bus Rapid Transit System. The project’s Phase I implementation cost has been estimated to be $96M and consists of a 13.1-mile long alignment with 28 at-grade station stops, level boarding and will operate from the Village of Broad Ripple in the north through the central business district of Indianapolis to the University of Indianapolis in the south. The project is the first all-electric bus rapid transit system in the nation and the first rapid transit service in the Indiana. EAC provide Project Management and Construction Management Oversight services on behalf of the Federal Transit Administration.
Our responsibilities included periodic and quarterly on-site visits and preparing recurring oversight and related reports, providing proactive problem solving and project oversight management services that resulted in beneficial professional opinions and recommendations that assisted the Grantee in achieving project success.
