Project Overview
EAC Consulting provided professional civil engineering services to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority on improvements to the terminal facilities at the Orlando International Airport (MCO). EAC’s services included civil engineering analyses and design, development of construction drawings and specifications, permitting and construction administration support services. EAC was responsible for the utilities and infrastructure improvements required to ensure that the Airport facilities conform to applicable code and safety requirements. Specifically EAC was responsible for all aspects of civil engineering design including: Paving and Grading including pavement design for the Apron Areas, Site Layout and Geometry, Airside Pavement Marking, Potable Water Distribution, Sanitary Sewerage and Disposal, Misc. Utility Relocation, Airside Traffic Control and Maintenance of Traffic, Construction Phasing, Drainage and Storm water Management and Verification of Existing Utilities and As-built Conditions.
