PortMiami contracted EAC to provide professional engineering services and prepare construction plans for the North Cruise Boulevard extension at Cruise Terminal B. EAC prepared a set of contract documents – including plans, specifications, supporting engineering analysis, calculations, and other technical documents in accordance with FDOT and Miami-Dade County standards, policies, procedures, and requirements. EAC’s scope of work includedimprovements at PortMiami to alleviate adverse traffic flow conditions for the Port’s current and future Cruise Terminal Development Program. The scope of work included roadway horizontal and vertical alignment, typical sections, drainage design, bridge design, miscellaneous structural design, lighting, signing and pavement markings, utilities coordination, water and sewer adjustment and relocation plans, and maintenance of traffic.
