EAC provided engineering services to Port Everglades in Broward County to implement state-of-the-art security improvements at the port. The services agreed to be performed to date, relate to structural design services for the construction of several facilities at the port, such as: security building, security gates (tolls) and I.D. center. The end result was a comprehensive, integrated security system including cameras, x-ray, and identification/ monitoring systems to prevent: theft, smuggling, access, and illegal immigration. The system will also control access and monitor and log the flow of traffic and goods in and out of the port.
