EAC, as part of a consultant team for LAN Airlines, was tasked with the civil engineering design for a new cargo hangar facility near the southwest portion of the Miami International Airport. EAC was responsible for the design of the proposed vehicular office parking areas to the north and northeast of the proposed building. Other improvements included new pavement, curbing, striping, pedestrian sidewalks, and storm water drainage systems. Additionally, EAC designed service connections for potable water, fire hydrants, and sanitary sewer to points of connection near the project site.
