Project Overview
This project covered the reconstruction of approximately 39 acres of container terminal behind PortMiami’s proposed Berth 6 and 7. As part of the project, a new yard layout and grading scheme were anticipated for the use of the yard by special rubber tired gantry equipment. EAC was solely responsible for the site drainage and stormwater management plan. Specifically, EAC’s scope of services included site investigation, reconnaissance, data collection and verification, design of the drainage and stormwater collection system, paving and grading coordination, structural engineering, FDEP (Florida Dept of Environmental Protection) permitting/AHJ approvals, and construction administration support services.
