Project Overview
EAC provided project management and inspections for the Dolphin Station Park and Ride design-build project. The project is a partnership between MDX, Miami-Dade County and FDOT. The facility supports the Miami Dade 836 Express Bus service and provides a terminus for Miami-Dade County local bus routes and adjoining municipalities trolley and bus services.

EAC performed oversight of construction engineering and inspection consultant and provided additional inspection resources when required. The facility supports multimodal modes of transportation, the need for park and ride/transit terminal facility to serve as a hub for express bus service and future commuter rail service.

The Dolphin Park and Ride includes 849 long term parking spaces and 20 short term parking spaces, transit platform area for 12 sawtooth bus bays and 10 bus layover bays with covered waiting area, transit hub with airconditioned passenger waiting area and retail space, drivers break lounge, drop off/pickup area for kiss and ride users and taxi/transportation network companies, landscaping, lighting signing and fencing.
