  • Long-term Flood Protection

The Key Largo Roadway and Drainage Improvement Project is located within the Dove Creek Estates, Seaside, and Bay Haven communities in Key Largo, and features approximately 13,000 linear feet of roadway rehabilitation. Roadway drainage analysis was provided to meet water quality and drainage design, and included French drains and swales. Some roads were also widened to meet current roadway width standards. EAC’s resiliency design services for this project included raising the roadway to account for sea level rise, and providing galvanized drainage inlet grates to mitigate corrosivity.
