EAC was tasked with performing engineering services for the rehabilitation of runways originally constructed in 1943. The runway rehabilitation design eliminated current pavement distresses with a cost-effective strategy that produced a 20-year design life pavement.
The scope of the rehabilitation improvements includes the following:
Tasks under this scope include Pre-Design Engineering Services such as utility investigation and coordination, data collection, project site reconnaissance, preliminary permit coordination/regulatory impacts and as-built plan reviews. Pavement design evaluation and an engineer’s report documenting the design methodology and approach.
